Densely populated slums are grossly underserved by Public Health Services.
Sant Rohidas Slum Health Project has been serving the poor residents of the slum clusters by providing Quality Primary Healthcare, Preventive Health programs and Health Education aiming the Behavioural Changes in Health Habits.
Started in 1993; the project has been successfully brought the significant positive changes in health status with innovative activities like Slum Hypertension Clinic, Under-Five Clinics, Safe Drinking Water Campaign and Speciality Clinics. NSDL e-Gov Infra Ltd has been supporting the project since last 6 years.
